We called six pool builders and outlined the scope of our project. Three never called back at all, one came out and then didnt ever give an estimate or callback, and two actually pursued our approval. Of the final two contractors, we chose Fredricks for many reasons. Hes a true Texan that does business with a handshake, tells it to you straight whether you want to hear it or not, and doesnt ask you for money up front. Hes built most of the pools in our neighborhood and weve heard nothing but amazing things for three years prior to selecting him. He also lives close to our neighborhood, so being assured that his customers get first class support years later was a big deal for us, as weve never built a pool before. The entire process was super fun, from design phase, to first dig.all the way to clean up. Fred is good about letting you know when things are happening, what to expect next and when to do what for maintenance. His crews/sub-contractors were ALWAYS on time or early and were respectful and skilled. His manager Justin is knowledgeable and easy to work with as well, making a continued relationship after the build easy as pie. 45 days from dig to completion is a pretty big deal as well, quicker than he promised! He also had no problem with a modular plan, as pool costs these days have ballooned like crazy, and we cant build the pool house immediately. He helped us figure out how to make a modular plan work for each step. The top tier equipment and materials he installs is sleek, beautiful and will save us so much money in electricity. We couldnt be happier, esp because we asked for many things hed not done before. Fred and Justin rose to this challenge and we have a gorgeous pool, and will be adding on a pool house soon! Overall, we feel like we got fantastic value for our money! Thank you Fred!

Our pool project is just being completed now. We are really glad we went with this company because they do things right no cutting corners or trimming back on quality materials or labor to save money. Fred definitely knows what hes doing and very good at communicating with you. I highly recommend!

Fred's Custom Pool Designs?? Would I give them 5 stars? NOT ON YOUR LIFE!! I'd give them ALL the stars if I could! After being burned by TWO different pool builders - including one who literally ran off with my money - I was desperate and honestly losing faith in finding an honest contractor. Fred and his team are wonderful and fun to work with! Our pool build was not easy due to the amount of rock in our yard and they managed it well and kept us on schedule. The end product is amazing and we get nothing but compliments from all of our friends and neighbors! I highly recommend Fred to anyone wanting to build or repair their pool!

Fred was amazing from the first phone call! He walked us through the process and made life changing suggestions for our pool to achieve the best outcome, along with being 100% transparent. Not to mention, he had the whole thing start to finish in less than a month without sacrificing quality! Even months after, he is still answering our questions and guiding us through being new pool owners. Highly recommend!

Building a pool is very exciting but we thought for sure it would be stressful. Working with Fredrick was absolutely stress-free. We went with Fred because he is the salesman AND project manager! He didnt come in and sales us an idea and just dig a hole. He took our general vision and guided us to our final product with his experience. Our project was not cut and dry and all of his advice just made the completion even sweeter without breaking the bank. The guy is straightforward and honest during the process and keeps you updated throughout. We couldnt ask for a nicer guy to work with. I also want to shout out to his foreman, Justin. Another super good dude and hard worker.

Fred builds a great pool! Ive had 5 pools built before and this one is my favorite. He was hands on the whole time and even after it was built and I was in the hospital for 12 days the man came by and checked on everything so my wife didnt have to worry about. I bet you cant find a better company to build your pool than Fredricks Custom Design Pools.

From the start of design to completion Fred was there every step of the way! Daily check-ins with workers was common place and he was on site supervising all of the major milestones during construction. Being a first time pool owner Fred has been available to answer all questions after start up. Dealing with Fredericks Custom Pools has been a wonderful experience.

Fred was very responsive when I called him concerning some loose tiles and cracked coping. He was able to provide his insight to come up with a solution to my issue. I will plan to use him again when I renovate my pool.

I highly recommend Fredericks Custom Pools, my pool needed replastering, new DE filters and other repairs. Very happy with the whole process and great customer service from Fredericks. Fred and his crew did an amazing job painting the walls, ceilings and trim in our new home. I couldnt be happier with the results. He is easy to work with and reasonable with his prices.
